Welcome to Mr. Hart's Blog!

This semester in our United States History I and Understanding Our World classes, students in Mr. Hart's class will be using the blog for various reasons. Occasionally I will post in class assignments here. I will also be preparing podcasts for students, parents, guardians, or the community members to listen to. The goal of these podcasts is to inform everyone of what is happening in our classroom. Secondly to hopefully create conversation about our class outside of the classroom. Being involved in your student's educational life is a huge component to his/her success.

Another reason for the existence of this blog is to provide assistance to any other educators out there. By no means do I claim to know it all, I am constantly learning everyday from everyone around me. It is important to learn something new everyday! Please feel free to email any questions to me at bhart@nazarethasd.org. I am always open to suggestions of any sort or answering any questions!

At the top of the blog is a countdown to the 2008 Election day.  This will be a major theme in both classes, as the importance of this election (as with any Presidential election) will effect the country and its path for the next four years.  This countdown will remain at the to until after election day.  So, be sure to always scroll down to check for new posts!

Finally, I will end this post by saying that I look forward to our semester here at Nazareth Area High School. Hopefully it will be enjoyable in many ways for all who are involved!
